Which fees are you interested to learn more about?

The following Fees and Charges apply to all deposits and continuing credit accounts unless stated otherwise. Fees and Charges apply on each occasion that they are undertaken unless stated otherwise. These Fees and Charges are correct as at the issue date, however they may change without notice.

Miscellaneous Loan Fee

Discharge Fee
payable when you request a release, for whatever reason, of any property against a secured loan or overdraft.  Discharge fees are charged on each property released; the amount will be disclosed on receipt of the completed Discharge Request form.

Late Payment Fee
  • Where the contractual payment to a loan or overdraft account, or part thereof, becomes 30 days past due. Applies to each payment.
  • With “Where the contractual payment to a loan or overdraft account, or part thereof, becomes 14 days past due. (applies to each payment).”

Default Fee
Where the contractual payment to a loan or overdraft account, or part thereof, becomes 30 days past due. Applies to each payment.
Note: Third Party costs not retained by BCCU which are incurred collecting, or attempting to collect, loans which are in default of loan conditions will be passed on to the borrower at cost.

Break Fee

Fixed rate loans
If during a fixed interest rate period you repay the balance of the loan, and such early repayment causes a loss to us, a Break Fee will be payable.
