This defined events policy offers the convenience of pay-by-the-month premiums for no additional policy fee**. As well as insuring you against things like accidental breakage, fire and theft, you can enjoy cover for a range of additional benefits like replacement of locks, and insurance for visitors’ property as well as contents in the open air at your address.

Safeguarding your house

This policy includes cover for:

accidental breakage
earthquake
explosion
fire and smoke
fusion of electric motors
impact damage
lightning or thunderbolt
malicious acts
riot or civil commotion
storm or rainwater
theft, burglary or housebreaking
water or other liquid damage

Additional benefits include:

compensation for fracture
legal liability (cover for injury to other people or their property) up to $20 million
up to 12 months temporary accommodation if your home is uninhabitable
loss or theft of credit cards (if card has been used)
up to $5,000 cover for new for old replacement on most contents regardless of age
up to $500 for spoilage of frozen food (with contents cover).
