Due to system maintenance from the data merge, our Online Banking and Phone Banking services will be unavailable from 4.00pm Friday 2nd June and is expected to be re-established from 12:00 noon Saturday 3rd June 2017.
 
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
 
To help minimise any disruption, we suggest that if you do need to make any transactions via Online Banking or Phone Banking, that you access your accounts outside of these hours.

New Website & New Banking App Coming Soon

New Website

Our new website will be launching on the 3rd of June. It will feature a fresh design and layout resulting in an improved browsing experience on all devices. Along with information on products and services, and access to a range of tools, the website will reinforce our affinity with the Bankstown community we serve. 
The new website will be mobile responsive which is a single website that works on all devices (e.g. mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktops) and most internet browsers. The new website automatically adapts and resizes, depending on the type of device being used and its orientation (i.e. portrait or landscape).

  • An intuitive design and navigation enabling you to find what you are looking for, quickly and easily.
  • A seamless browsing experience across desktop, tablet and mobile, therefore allowing you to stay connected with us anytime anywhere.

  • Members will be able to access the website using the web address www.bcub.com.au. If you have a bookmark saved for www.bccu.com.au, these will automatically direct you to the new site. 

New Banking App

The new Bankstown City Unity Bank App will be available in the Apple or Google Play stores from Monday 5th June.
Simply search for Bankstown City Unity Bank in the App Store (Apple devices) and Google Play Store (Android devices) and download the app to your phone. 
You will need to use your current internet banking user name (make sure you use your new member number starting with 6) and password details.
 
With an abundance of new features, banking with our new app will be quicker, easier and more secure. 
It will include a range of features that you will love:
 
  • Fingerprint login (iPhone 5S and above and selected Android devices)
  • Pay bills via BPAY®
  • Transaction history
  • Overseas notifications (tell us that you're going overseas)
  • Place a temporary block on your Cards
  • Quickly view your account balances without the need to login to the app 
  • PIN change (debit and credit cards) 
  • Transfer between accounts 
  • Report lost or stolen cards 
   

Bankstown City Credit Union and Unity Bank Join Forces

On 19 April 2017, members of Bankstown City Credit Union (BCCU) voted overwhelmingly in favour of a merger with Unity Bank.
 
The merger creates a member owned bank with assets of over $1,063 million, close to 40,000 members and a network of 24 branches across Australian capital cities and regional communities.

BANKSTOWN CITY CREDIT UNION PROPOSED MERGER WITH MARITIME, MINING & POWER CREDIT UNION*

*Maritime, Mining & Power Credit Union has become Unity Bank Limited as at 1st March 2017.

Information packs about the proposed merger have been sent to all members who are eligible to vote at the Special General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, 19th April, 2017.

Format: A short presentation followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Representatives from both Credit Unions will be in attendance.
After: Join us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
