Going to the circus as a child is something that most of us enjoyed and looked forward to - those clowns, daring performances, animals and fairy floss made it a great day out! Sadly, there are thousands of disadvantaged children in NSW who won´t get the opportunity to enjoy a visit to the circus because of serious illness, physical disability, financial hardship or other circumstances.

The Children´s Circus Spectacular aims to give local disadvantaged children and their families a special gift — a fun-filled day out at the circus.

Your support will help to make this happen, and at the same time help fund the ongoing work of the Leukaemia Foundation and DRUG ARM Street Outreach Services.

The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. Your support will help the Foundation to continue provide it´s free support services such as education programs, transportation to and from hospital, and a “home-away-from-home” in the Foundation´s fully furnished accommodation close to major hospitals and practical assistance.

DRUG ARM's Street Outreach Service (SOS) is a mobile patrol that provides support, referrals and information services to individuals who are experiencing harm associated with homelessness, alcohol and other drug use and mental health issues. In New South Wales thousands of young people are helped each year through this valuable community service.

BCCU have provided the funds to assist ten children with Leukaemia to attend the Children´s Circus Spectacular. We wish them the best of fun and enjoyment from this exciting event.
